The Emilia-Romagna Enoteca Regionale
The Emilia-Romagna Enoteca Regionale is off to a good start, receiving 1.8 million euros from the EU’s wine promotion funds (Regulation 1144/2014), equal to 80% of the overall budget of 2.3 million euros, earmarked for a wide-ranging project that envisages information and promotion activities from 2022 to early 2025. For the more than 200 companies (from Rimini to Piacenza) gathered in the organisation chaired by Giordano Zinzani (photo), 41% of the initiatives must be implemented in Italy, 39% in Germany and 20% in Sweden. The Enoteca Regionale participated in the call for proposals for multi programmes alongside two Greek partners (Agronutritional Cooperation of Region of Central Macedonia and United Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos).
European Mediterranean Countries’ Sustainable Food and Wine project
Overall, the "European Mediterranean Countries’ Sustainable Food and Wine project" will receive more than 4.1 million euros. At its recent October meeting, the Enoteca Regionale received support by the Emilia-Romagna Region, which also established a permanent round table with the consortia’s managers. Among the various activities, there are major trade fair events on the horizon: from Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris (14-16 February) to ProWein in Düsseldorf (27-29 March) and Vinitaly in Verona (10-13 April).
