The Capriano del Colle Fausto 2022 by Lazzari, made from turbiana (or trebbiano di Soave) in purity, doesn't make us miss the excellent '21. It has an intense straw yellow color with golden reflections, opening on the nose with tones of white flowers, white peach with elegant nuances of black tea that turn into spice tones. On the palate, mineral notes, acidity, and great complexity.

In Capriano del Colle, south of Brescia, Davide and Giordano Lazzari passionately and devotedly pass on the family philosophy. Vineyard artisans, dedicated to enhancing the territory's typicality and quality of wines with the utmost environmental respect, they highlight the expression of the grape-environment combination. On Monte Netto, a hill of alluvial clayey origin, 10 hectares of organic vineyards are dedicated to turbiana, marzemino, but also sangiovese, barbera, and some international varieties.

The Lugana Madonna della Scoperta also convinces in the 2022 edition. Bright straw yellow, it opens with notes of white fruit and aromatic herbs that turn into citrus nuances. On the palate, it is savory, rich in soft fruit tones, supported by a fresh acidic vein that ensures long aromatic persistence and a long-lasting future.

From Verona to Lonato del Garda, the Prandini family continues its long agricultural tradition. Ettore and Giovanna have created a modern entrepreneurial reality with their beautiful estate near the Sanctuary of Madonna della Scoperta, which boasts a heritage of 40 hectares mainly planted with turbiana, the result of careful mass selections. At its center, a modern and suggestive cellar where work is done by gravity. In Valtènesi, the territory's grapes, especially groppello but also international varieties.

The Riesling Campo della Fojada Riserva 2019 gradually opens on the nose with a range of aromatic herbs, then finds itself creamy, full, airy, long, and well-balanced on the palate.

Tenuta Travaglino, characterized by vineyards and woods in one of the most picturesque corners of Oltrepò Pavese, is managed by Cristina and Alessandro Comi, representatives of the family's latest generation. An ancient medieval monastery transformed into a sumptuous manor villa now offers high-level hospitality. In the cellar, Achille Bergami, with the consultancy of Donato Lanati, tirelessly works to get the most out of the prestigious Rhein riesling and pinot noir vineyards that extend over a good part of the 80 hectares of vines. The company practices low-impact agriculture, in harmony with the surrounding territory.
