Tre Bicchieri 2024: The Best Morellino di Scansano
Tuscany confirms once again this year as the most awarded region in the Guide, with a remarkable 89 Tre Bicchieri. The number of finalist wines, the Due Bicchieri Rossi, is as high as 327. These results are broadly justified by the vastness of territory and designations, the variety of styles and terroirs. There is a dynamism, a desire to grow and deepen the connection with the territory that knows no pause.
Here, we focus on Morellino di Scansano, a red wine with an approachable image that appeals to a wide audience, yet manages to touch upon memorable wines from the best vineyards. We awarded three labels of this wine, two of which were recognised in the Gambero Rosso Vini d'Italia 2024 guide.
