For the first time, Gambero Rosso has mapped Italian-flavored establishments in Kenya. On January 30, the Top Italian Wines Rodashow stopped in Nairobi for a special tasting event featuring the best Italian wines awarded in the Vini d'Italia 2024 guide. Addresses highlighted in the Top Italian Restaurants guide were announced during the event. In anticipation of a second in-depth work of the guide that tracks the best addresses for Italian cuisine abroad, some references for Italian cuisine, pizza and Italian wine in Kenya were identified. There is still ample room for improvement, but the passion for Italian cuisine and traditions is strong and articulate.
