Whether in Irpinia with Sanpaolo or in Salento with Tenute Eméra and Cantina Moros, we have observed once again this year their skillful balance between a traditional approach deeply rooted in the territory and contemporary gusto.
Tenute Eméra spans across 55 hectares of vineyards near Lizzano, primarily situated on mineral-rich soils full of fossils near the Ionian coast. On the other hand, Cantina Moros relies on just over a hectare of old vines in Guagnano dedicated to producing Salice Salentino.

This Primitivo ages for five months in steel and an additional two months in barrique before resting for an extended period in the bottle. The result is a red wine that combines typical Salento grape notes – black fruits like ripe plum and blueberry – with captivating spicy and underbrush sensations. On the palate, it's juicy, rich in fruit, displaying good structure and persistence. At the table, it proves to be the perfect companion for Puglia bombette (meat roulades) or dishes of red meat.
