Gambero Rosso World Tour 2023

Data in hand, 2022 will be a year to remember for Italian wine in the world. The forecasts speak of a final result far beyond the most optimistic. According to the latest data from Federvini Observatory edited by Nomisma and TradeLab, a record figure of 8 billion euro will be reached at the end of the year: a net +12% over 2021. Among the growth factors, the more than favourable trend of the exchange rate euro-dollar and the very strong recovery of tourism at global level which has especially boosted wine consumption in the HoReCa channel. There were almost 40 events organised by Gambero Rosso in 2022, a tour calibrated on the needs of the wineries: the watchword was “diversify.” For this reason consolidated and emerging markets have been touched, with a truly global coverage, accompanied by the enhancement of the most virtuous Italian dining experience at every stage. And the 2023 World Tour promises to be even richer and more intense, with an important novelty: Organic Wines. Ad hoc sections will in fact be curated within the events, in the wake of consumer and trade requests, increasingly attentive to this market segment, with dedicated seminars led by Gambero Rosso experts.
