The fame of Lagundo wine and food is rooted in history but equally solidly bound to a great distillery: Lagundo cooperative winery. It was established on 24 February 1909 by 37 members, in the Marchetti retail building in the centre of Merano. Today, the distillery produces the famous Algunder Treber, and since the 1990s vaunts the Grappa label which upholds production standards for this prized Italian spirit The result is a beverage with a refined aroma and unmistakable character, made solely from grapes of the finest Italian vintages.
