In collaboration with Bottega Spa
Four centuries of history in the world of wine and grappa. Bottega Spa is both a winery and a distillery, supported by a close-knit team of oenologists specializing in winemaking and distillation. Its roots lie in Bibano di Godega, in the heart of the Prosecco DOC area, with vineyards extending into the Rive of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over time, the company expanded its presence with wineries in Valgatara, in Valpolicella, and in Montalcino, dedicated to the great red wines of Veneto and Tuscany, followed in 2023 by the opening of its Castelnuovo Berardenga estate in the Chianti Classico area. Completing the picture is the small winery in Vittorio Veneto, specializing in sparkling wines made with the ancestral method.
Founded in 1977 by Aldo Bottega, a master distiller with more than 30 years of experience, the company passed to his sons, Sandro and Stefano, in the 1980s, beginning a period of growth that led the brand to establish itself in the duty-free and travel retail sectors. Today, Bottega Gold — the Prosecco DOC in its signature gold bottle — is one of the most recognizable symbols of Made in Italy.

From the vineyards to the global market
Among the company’s flagship labels are Valdobbiadene DOCG Rive di Col San Martino and Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Cartizze Dry, both produced from Glera grapes with small percentages of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The first comes from one of the most historic and highly regarded areas of the Rive, known for its contour-planted vineyards and centuries-old winemaking heritage. The second is sourced from Cartizze, the prestigious hillside area between San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano, and Saccol, where microclimate, soil composition, and production practices define a distinctive identity.
With 60 hectares of vineyards, 30 hectares of cork oak forest, 250 employees, and 14 million liters produced annually, the company now distributes its products in 165 countries while maintaining 98% Italian-sourced raw materials. Over the years, its portfolio has expanded beyond Prosecco and sparkling wines to include grappa, red wines, liqueurs, gin, vermouth, and no- and low-alcohol products.
