Very pleasant on the palate, the Nobile di Montepulciano Pagliareto '17 is juicy and contrasting, but also capable of finding a wonderful aromatic texture between floral and fruity notes, with spicy and sometimes balsamic flavours. 

Once again this year, Terre Brune is awarded the Tre Bicchieri, top-notch in its category. The 2016 vintage was good here in Sulcis as well, where the wine enjoys a great balance between aromatic complexity - Mediterranean scrub, blackberry, black...

The 2018 vintage brought aromas dominated by ripe, pulpy yellow fruit, backed up by citrusy and dried flower notes. In a savoury and very long finish, the wine glides across the palate with grace and consistency.

Fermented and aged exclusively in steel, Polje's Sauvignon is a white with intriguing notes of magnolia, sage, green pepper, cedar peel and passion fruit on the nose, while clean and vibrant in the mouth. 

Pinot Grigio is one of the latest labels to join the Polje range. The stunning 2019 version is reminiscent of wild flowers and white peach, while soft, fresh, savoury and progressive on the palate. 

This is one of the best new wines in the region this year: the range of wines is more than convincing and the debut is very promising. The excellent Greco di Tufo Le Arcaie stands out, crystalline with its tones...

Among the best of a complicated vintage, the Barbaresco Gallina '17 shows scents of tobacco, sweet spice and red fruit. Elegant and ripe tannins lend a harmonious mouthfeel, already flowing effortlessly through the palate.

This time too, it did not disappoint us: the Trento Aquila Reale easily won our Tre Bicchieri. Elegant, harmonious, with a very long finish, thanks to the generous mouthfeel and the well-defined aromas, this wine shows hints of small pastries...
