In the late 1940s, Count Piero Loredan realized the winemaking potential of the Venegazzù area and invested here, planting vineyards in the hilly Alta Marca Trevigiana district of the province of Treviso. The territories between Asolo and Montello offer balanced, dynamic wines that express their terroir in no uncertain terms. The marc from these prestigious grapes are used to make Grappa Capo di Stato, from the iconic red wine produced by the winery, and its Riserva aged 60 months in oak barrels.
