To fully enjoy the richness of a varied region that has so much to offer in terms of nature, scenery, food, outdoor sports and excursions, a farm stay is the perfect option for a truly relaxing holiday. Suitable for all types of travellers—from families with children to lovers of outdoor activities and those simply looking to unplug—Campania offers a wealth of great agriturismos. From organic farms with sea views on the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento Peninsula, within the protected marine area of Punta Campanella (home also to the Iaccarino family’s organic garden, linked to Don Alfonso 1890, which earned Tre Forchette verdi (three green Forks) in the 2025 Restaurants of Italy guide), to hilltop or seaside cottages in the Cilento National Park, wineries with kitchens and guest rooms at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, and agriturismos nestled in the hills around Benevento and Avellino—an inland area less touched by mass tourism. Here's our selection.
