COAM has a history spanning over 60 years. Founded in 1964 by Luciano Gusmeroli, he was the first to introduce the processing of wild North American salmon to Italy. Processing techniques learned right where the salmon is caught are still practiced today at the Morbegno plant, where the perfect combination of artisanal mastery and technological innovation reigns supreme.
