Tre Bicchieri 2020 Marche
The list of the Tre Bicchieri Marche seems to flow rapidly, almost as if the viticulture in the region is close to immobile. The usual slew of Verdicchio prizes, with Matelica skilled in confirming its value once again with four compared to the nine of Jesi, which is 10 times larger for hectares of vineyards. In the south of the region, the reasons for the growing quality of Pecorino and the historic vocation for Montepulciano are divided, sometimes combined with the blend of Sangiovese and the Piceno Superiore. The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba shows that the historic result achieved last year with the exploit of Marotti Campi was not an isolated episode and sets a convincing confirmation. Unfortunately no peaks come from the Macerata area (with the exclusion of the areas where Verdicchio is grown, of course) and from the Pesaro area.
Tre Bicchieri 2020 Marche. New entries and returns for Tre Bicchieri
In actual fact, the situation is much more liquid than it may appear. The fact of finding names that have never been awarded such as Fattoria Nannì, Pantaleone, Tenuta dell'Ugolino and Vignamato should not be overlooked. Others, like Valter "Roccia" Mattoni and Montecappone, return to the gold register after several years of absence. Collestefano, Bucci, Dianetti, Bisci and Belisario savour the taste of success again after a brief hiatus. This is a clear sign that the values between the different companies have levelled upwards, and that it's increasingly difficult to evaluate and discern. Sometimes the differences are minimal.
Tre Bicchieri 2020 Marche. Confirmed winners
We invite readers to browse and carefully read the following pages: next to the regular presence of Andrea Felici, Borgo Paglianetto, Le Caniette, Tenuta Santori, Tenuta Spinelli, Tenute San Sisto - Fazi Battaglia, Umani Ronchi and Velenosi, we find different and interesting wineries that offer exquisite local wines. In short, don't overlook the wines that we mark with the symbol of the two red glasses and you will discover that many areas far from the spotlight are growing at a good pace, often thanks to careful investments, good ideas and lots of passion. We therefore like to mention the good vibrations emanating from the Colli Maceratesi Ribona, from the Bianchello del Metauro, the exquisite quality of the Bordò piceni wines, and the elegance of Montepulciano produced at the foot of Monte Conero from grapes used to breathing the salty air of the Adriatic Sea.
