Located in the heart of Val Venosta, Puni is the first and only (at least for the moment) Italian distillery to produce whisky. It was the entrepreneur Albrecht Ebensperger who took on the challenge in 2010. This high-quality whisky is made using homegrown grains and the clear, fresh waters of the Puni creek. Three types of whisky are available (all of which come in brilliantly designed bottles): limited edition Puni Nero (aged in pinot nero casks), Alba (aged in Marsala casks) and the Nova (aged in American and European oak).
