At 170 years of age, this is the oldest artisan distillery in Italy, working over four generations to select the best marc. In the 1980s the latest offspring took over and is still in the saddle today: Giovanni, Paolo and Stefano brought new ideas that would meet the demands of a modern consumer looking for a softer but equally refined grappa. Here the Brunello family refined distillation techniques and extended the range, adding monovarietals to traditional spirits.
