It all began with Von Damian Valentini, who started distilling marc to be aged in small barrels of five to fifty litres, in Val di Non. It was 1872 and spirits were consumed by the family, traded, or bartered to pay duty to the Austrian Empire. Now, 150 years on, Valentini's glory is untarnished thanks to very fine spirits and a perfectly balanced flavour. As well as monovarietal grappas, pear williams eau-de-vie, limoncello, and chocolate liqueurs, Valentini offers the original Luxury liqueur made from pure liquorice, to be drunk neat or on the rocks.
