This is the smallest distillery in Italy, an artisan business working with care and attention. The passion for grappa handed down through the generations has led the Sancarlo family to take up the old Piedmontese bain-marie distillation method, for more focused aromas. The marc comes from small Langa, Roero and Monferrato producers, and is distilled while fresh, on arrival at the estate. Grappas are available in young versions or aged in small cherrywood barrels.
