In 1884, Doctor Giuseppe Clementi's pharmacy in Fivizzano produced a prodigious elixir made from two fine varieties of tropical cinchona, armomatic and medicinal herbs. Known as China Clementi, this renowned and precious product is still made with the traditional recipe. Of a characteristic orange colour, China Clementi is barrel-aged for two years to achieve a soft, intensely scented, virtuoso liqueur with a persistent finish.
