The Bottega distillery is inextricably linked to the name of Rosina Zambon Bottega and her husband who in acquired the business in Sartor, near Treviso, in 1967. A few years later Rosina was widowed but she never lost heart, and bravely continued to work hard in the business she had begun. The Alexander brand was launched in 1987, for the connoisseur consumer seeking a sophisticated, fragrant grappa. Today Rosina's children have taken over and safeguard the concept of excellence.
