Elena, Federica and Fausto Zeni lead the family winery, one of the most beautiful and historic in the area, on the shores of Lake Garda, drawing on an estate that extends for over 20 hectares as well as valuable collaborations with numerous growers in the area and in nearby Valpolicella. The heart of production is divided into two axes. On the one hand there are their Garda wines, with their trademark fragrance and lightness, on the other we find powerful Valpolicella reds, interpreted here with a focus on drinkability. The Amarone Vigne Alte ’17 is an emblematic drink, a wine with a deep, fruity and spicy aromatic profile and a palate that conquers more for harmony than for power, lengthening sapid and dynamic around supporting acidity. As for their lake reds, we appreciated the Chiaretto di Bardolino ’20 of the same line, a fresh, juicy wine that conquers even the most discriminating palate with its supple, gratifying flavor.
