The historic winery situated along Via Foro Boario in Valdobbiadene has made an important contribution to making Treviso’s sparkling wine popular throughout the world. Today, thanks to valuable collaborations with local growers, it’s able to draw on a large area, whose attributes are brought out with sensitivity and precision by a technical staff led by Giancarlo Zanon. Prosecco Superiore is the absolute star, produced in all its various versions (as well as a pair of interpretations linked to Rive di San Pietro), together with outstanding Metodo Classico. And the Prosecco ’19, made with grapes from their Rive di San Pietro di Barbozza vineyards, is the sparkling wine that most convinced our tasters. Despite the year spent in the cellar, it opens on aromas of great freshness and overall integrity, with fruit white emerging amidst flowery sensations and tropical nuances. In the mouth its bubbles delicately caress the palate, accompanying the palate through a long, alluring finish.
