Founded about fifteen years ago, Terre di Sava consists of a group of growers who farm around 500 hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria appellation. These lands predominantly feature old vines grown in the Apulian bush-trained style on the region's characteristic red soils with limestone substrates. Their extensive range centers primarily on primitivo, but also includes other varietals like negroamaro, susumaniello, malvasia nera, verdeca, and vermentino. The Primitivo di Manduria Notte Rossa Riserva '19 is among the finest of its kind. It expresses balsamic aromas and black fruit, while the palate proves juicy, fruit-rich, with a lovely balance of acidity and sapidity, culminating in a refreshing and agreeable finish. The Bascià 22, a blend of primitivo and negroamaro, is redolent of fresh black fruit and aromatic herbsan approachable and supple drink. The Notte Rossa Primitivo Rosato '22 is juicy, brimming with fruit, touches of spice, concluding with a sweet, citrusy finish.
