Based in Magliano, the winemaking branch of Terre dell'Etruria started producing in 2014. While the cooperative is known mostly for its olive oil and produce, they already offer compelling wines that align with Maremma's enological traditions. Theirs are immediately pleasing wines, but also characterized by a distinct personality and a certain technical stature, drawing on the area's classic grape varieties, from sangiovese to ciliegiolo, vermentino, and ansonica. The well-crafted Maremma Ansonica Tramaglio '22 offers up an aromatic suite in which a persistent, balsamic herb note emerges, introducing a palate that's lively, flavorful, and equally fragrant. The Maremma Vermentino Marmato '22 is also a well-made white, with a floral aromatic streak and a straightforward palate. The Vermentino Ancestrale Brumoso '22 stands out for its compelling drinkability.
