Eddi Luisa assumed responsibility for the winery at the tender age of 16. In the mid-1980s, he created the Luisa brand, embarking on a journey filled with accomplishment and recognition. Sadly, he recently passed away. We choose to remember him as a sociable and jovial man, ever ready with a smile, and proud of his agricultural roots. For some time now, his sons, Michele and Davide, have been overseeing the winery, taking charge of winemaking and agronomic management, respectively. It has become a tradition for the two whites from the I Ferretti line to arrive as a pair in our final selections and contend for a top spot. Last year we awarded Tre Bicchieri to the Friulano I Ferretti '20. This year, the winner is the Desiderium I Ferretti '21, a superb blend of chardonnay, tocai friulano, and sauvignon.
