Selva Capuzza was born from the merger of the Formentini family's winery with Hirundo, established in 1908. It's nestled in the moraine amphitheater, just 4 kilometers from the shores of Lake Garda, at elevations averaging 120 meters, amidst meadows, vineyards, and a truffle wood with oaks, hornbeams, and hazels. The estate stands at the crossroads of the three main appellations on the Brescia side of the lake: Riviera del Garda Classico, San Martino della Battaglia, and Lugana. The Campo del Soglio '22 is excellent, a San Martino that pours a brilliant straw-green hue, opening on enticing white fruit, kiwi, and tropical fruit aromas. The palate is rich in weighty, satisfying, and rich, fading to hints of hydrocarbons. The San Donino '22 is also excellent: a rosé that stands out for its full-bodied texture, sapidity, and clear expression. The Lugana '22 is full of minerality, opting for linear profile.
