The winery, which has expanded into the Langhe to Neive (even if its historic heart beats in Dogliani), can boast names that are synonymous with the grandeur of regional winemaking. This expansion was made possible thanks to several acquisitions made especially in recent years. The 2018 vintage introduced the new Barolo cru, Monvigliero, through the purchase of just under one and a half hectares in this esteemed Verduno Geographical Mention. Today at the helm we find Matteo Sardagna Einaudi, Luigi's great-grandson All the wines presented stand out for their quality, with a lineup Barolos that prove supple and modern. At the forefront is the Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi, rich in balsamic notes, with fresh red fruit, rose, and licorice undertones to follow. In the mouth it delivers a fleshy palate with refined, silky tannins. The new addition, the Villero, immediately showcases great energy of flavor and a long finish. The Barbaresco, in its freshness and fruitiness, proves beautifully complex.
