The historic winery established by Mauro Vannucci in the mid-1970s, now helmed by his daughter Silvia, has long been a benchmark for Carmignano. The vineyards enjoy optimal positions within this area. The cellar, practically camouflaged within the hillside with trees and plants flourishing on its roof, is where the winery's grapes (sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot) are vinified with intelligence and passion. Their Poggio de' Colli vineyard is home to cabernet franc, destined for a monovarietal wine that has become a true national star. The Poggio de' Colli '20 boasts an intense and intricate bouquet of wild berries, enriched by bay leaf, a hint of pepper, and alluring scents of roasting coffee. It's an exceptional wine with a firm palate and unexpected elegance. The Carmignano Riserva '20 exhibits an international flair with its refined spiciness and sweet nuances of pepper. The Carmignano Il Sasso '21 is more restrained but supple on the palate.
