Starting this year, Patrizia Cencioni has made the decision to remove the Solaria name (under which her wines have previously been tasted) from her labels. From now on, only her name will appear. After all, she is fully responsible for the winery's success. Born into a family of famous Montalcino vintners, she developed a passion for winemaking from an early age, assisting her grandfather. Then, in 1989, she established her winery through sheer dedication and hard work, gaining recognition in what was then still a mostly male-dominated world. Patrizia's approach to Brunello could be summarized in three words: respect, attention, and passion. This is what transpires when tasting her wines, like the extremely elegant Brunello Riserva 123 '17. Intense on the nose with notes of blackcurrant syrup, cherry, mulberries, tobacco, undergrowth, whiffs of leather and curry, and fresher balsamic notes. Also in the mouth, it's full, sapida juicy and elegant drink, very long, with harmonious tannins.
