The Muratori family's winery is asserting itself as one of Franciacorta's most notable producers, with unquestionable quality and an area under vines of 60 hectares, sprawling across six unique terroirs. Grapes are processed in a state-of-the-art, underground cellar spanning three levels, where the use of gravity allows the technical team to work without the aid of mechanical tools. Winemaking is entrusted to Riccardo Cotarella. By virtue of a solid lineup, the winery once again proves its knack for long aging on the lees. The Riserva Millè fully leverages the factor of time; its beading is ultra-fine, supporting an elegant texture of mint, licorice, tones of apple and peacha well-sustained, crispy and lingering drink. The dynamic and lively Riserva Del Gelso '16 proves taut in its progression, vacillating between fresh sensations of citrus and freshly cut grass. The clear and dynamic Muratorio Cisiolo is also quite pleasant, a Pinot Nero rich in pulp and fragrance.
