In recent years the Dal Bianco family have stepped things up considerably, focusing more and more on their premium selections and best vineyards. Today Adriano has the support of his sons Federico and Filippo, who’ve played an increasingly important role and set the winery on its new direction. The estate, which unfolds mainly in the historic part of Prosecco, has its pearl in the Ogliano vineyards, which are brought out by a range in which elegance and harmony figure centrally. Their Ogliano vineyard once again demonstrates that it’s their most interesting, with the western and eastern sides providing very different results. Ponente gives rise to the grapes for their RDO Brut, a wine with a curious aromatic framework, where notes of apple and lime blossom are flanked by vegetal hints. In the mouth it’s solid, crisp and highly sapid. Levante, on the other hand, hosts the grapes for their RDO Extra Dry, a more immediately expressive and juicy wine.
