Maria Caterina Dei

Description

In 1964, Alibrando Dei took the first important step by buying land in Bossona, where he planted the first vineyard. The 1970s saw the acquisition of the Martiena property and the neighboring villa, which today serve as the producer's headquarters and cellar. It wasn't until 1985, however, that the first bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano was produced under the Dei brand. Today, the winery is managed by Caterina Dei, who's been steering it on a successful path since 1991, earning it a place among Montepulciano's best producers. The floral and spicy notes of the Nobile di Montepulciano Madonna della Querce '18 contribute to rendering its vibrant aromatic profile multifaceted and enticing. In the mouth, the wine is juicy and fragrant, with a focused procession of flavor and an invigorating finish on smoky hints. The Nobile di Montepulciano '20 possesses a brilliant, fruity character, with citrus flashes lending added freshness and dynamism to a firm, sapid, and tasty palate that fades gracefully.
