Since the mid-19th century, the Giovine family has been cultivating moscato on the slopes surrounding their family farm, driven by a deep dedication to the land and drawing on traditional methods (in local dialect, "armangia" loosely translates to "vindication"). Today, Ignazio and Giuliana continue the family legacy, a testament to the family's resilience. Nebbiolo, barbera, freisa are also grown, as are a few international grapes in vineyards in Moasca, San Marzano Oliveto, and Castel Boglione, resulting is a diverse range. The Barbera d'Asti Sopra Berruti '21 reveals balsamic notes with hints of cherry and licorice on the nose, leading to a juicy palate, marked by nice freshness and sapidity, and a long, pleasant finish. The Nizza Titon '20 proves masterfully made, intensely multifaceted in its aromas of ripe plum and aromatic herbs. The palate is consistent, full-bodied, and enduring. The Piemonte Chardonnay Robi & Robi '20 is equally impressive, conjuring up notes of apple and apricot, and beautifully balancing freshness and volume.
