The Di Properzio brothers' work is guided by two principles: respect for the territory and sustainability. Founded in the '90s, the winery draws on vineyards in various territories, benefitting from sun, sea, and mountain breezes. Andrea and Roberto, with the invaluable support of Luca D'Attoma, transform the grapes into a range of expressive wines with a strong territorial identity. This year two wines of exquisite craftsmanship competed for the spotlight. The Trebbiano Spelt '20 sees chamomile and citron join a lovely sensation of sweet white fruit; then aromatic herbs come in, paving the way for a relaxed, expansive and very tasty palate. The Bellovedere Riserva '20, a single-vineyard Montepulciano from the Terre dei Vestini subzone, matures in barriques and tonneaux. The result is an aromatic profile adorned by sensations of cocoa beans, ripe plum and coffee, while in the mouth it proves full-bodied and dense, close-knit in its tannic weave, streaked with pleasant mineral nuances.
