Italian version

The seven Greco brothers, despite all having brilliant careers in other sectors, have nevertheless continued to manage the operation founded by their father Tommaso in the 1960s. The charming estate of more than 1,500 hectares between the provinces of Crotone and Cosenza is mainly planted with olive trees, but since 2001 also includes about eighty hectares of vineyards. The wines produced by this beautiful and dynamic Cariati winery all share a modern style characterized by great cleanliness and territoriality. Masino '17, made with native Calabrian grapes, reached our finals. It offers up elegant, close-knit aromas of mulberries, blackberries and fresh herbs on a balsamic background. The palate proves soft, juicy and long. Savù '18, a rosé made with Gaglioppo grapes, reveals floral and mineral aromas, and appears spacious with a fresh, sapid drinkability on the palate.
