Natalino Crognaletti grew up among the vineyards and learned from an early age how to approach the vineyard in an instinctive way. For him, biodynamic is the only philosophy that's in line with his own. The result is extroverted wines, perhaps not perfect from a formal point of view but always endowed with indomitable flavor and energy. And it must be said that of late, his wines are more on point than in the past: less volatile aromatically, more balanced in terms of structure and alcohol content. All without sacrificing flavor and gastronomic potential. Their two Oche wines (verdicchio) are bursting with flavor. The Campo '18 sees aromatic complexity combine with a tangy and persistent pleasantness. The Le Oche '20 opts for a spontaneous profile, highly appealing in its texture and length. The gregarious and relaxed Di Gino Bianco '21 also performed well, as did the San Lorenzo '09 (syrah), which exhibits great allure by virtue of its spicy, brackish energy.
