Great oenologist, as demonstrated by the outcomes of the companies he consults throughout Italy, Beppe Caviola is above all a convinced wine craftsman. He relies indeed on his own exceptional tasting skills, rather than on the data obtained in his well-equipped analysis laboratory. The winery’s fame spread gradually thanks to the Dolcetto and Barbera d’Alba, made in very old facilities in Montelupo Albese, then crossing the ocean with the arrival of his Barolo Sottocastello di Novello, a true quintessence of Nebbiolo grapes refined with exquisite classicism.
