Castello di Radda

Description

The Agricola Gussalli Beretta group includes various wineries in different Italian regions, such as Lo Sparviere in Franciacorta, Orlandi Contucci Ponnio in Abruzzo, and Fortemasso in Langa. Castello di Radda, their Tuscan winery, is characterized by its cross-selection of vineyards of different ages and minimalist cellar practices, factors that contribute to the production of balanced wines that faithfully reflect their territory of origin. The wines stand out for their subtly modern approach where oak barrel aging is applied with thoughtful balance. The Chianti Classico Riserva '18 unveils aromas of wild grass, cherry, and violet, complemented by toasted and smoky nuances. In the mouth, the wine is juicy, tending towards fragrant, with still lively tannins playing a key role in its development, concluding on a well-focused finish with lingering fruity tones and balsamic hints. The Chianti Classico '21 stands out for its clean aromas of red fruits and spices, favoring a direct and immediately pleasant profile, with a sweet, gratifying palate.
