Castello di Cantone
The company was founded in the 1990s, when Viviana Pasta and Dario Pistarà decided to put their studies in oenology, attended between Milan and Bordeaux, to good use. The twelve acres (five hectares) of vineyards at the foot of Monte Sangiorgio, a World Heritage Site, benefit from a special microclimate, thanks also to the presence of Lake Ceresio. It helps mitigate winter temperatures and contributes to the dizzying temperature range between night and day during the summer. All this provides the raw material for wines with great and precise mouthfeel that reflect the territory.
