Terriccio's modern journey began around a century ago when the Marquis Serafini Ferri acquired the estate. Significant land improvements brought the estate very close to its current appearance. In the mid-1970s, Gian Annibale Rossi di Medelana began transforming it into a winemaking center of excellence. After his passing, the property was inherited by his grandson, Vittorio Piozzo di Rosignano Rossi di Medelana, who continues the family tradition of producing exceptional wines. The Lupicaia '18, cabernet sauvignon with a share of petit verdot, impresses the nose with its fresh notes of eucalyptus and sage, followed by hints of currant and blueberry alongside spicy hints of pepper and juniper. In the mouth it opens pleasant, with smooth tannins, pleasing freshness, and a prolonged palate. The Tassinaia '19, merlot and cabernet sauvignon, proves invigorating, lively, rich and enchanting.
