Dynamic winemaker Nino Caravaglio continues to invest in his stunning Aeolian winery, buoyed by his daughter Alda's choice to follow in his footsteps by studying agriculture. This year, the vineyard planted a few years ago in Stromboli will enter production, while work progresses on the new, entirely underground winery seamlessly integrated into the landscape. The winery will also include a panoramic tasting room with direct views of Panarea and Stromboli. The Malvasia Passito '22 shines as usual. Hailing from a hot and dry vintage that truly tested the skilled Nino, it's slightly riper than usual but remains well balanced by a fresh acidic vein and a touch of sapidity that makes it extremely enjoyable to drink. Tre Bicchieri goes to the best vintage ever of the Infatata, the 2022, a dry Malvasia that exhibits clear floral sensations, anise, aromatic herbs, and exotic fruits, presenting a sapid, fresh, refined, and very persistent palate.
