The winery, founded relatively recently compared to other cooperatives (in 1966), has seen a consistent increase in both the number of members (from 16 to 220) and size. In recent years, it has striven for more and better, emphasizing the selection of the best grapes to produce traditional wines of great quality, as evidenced by the 50 Vendemmie line (from vineyards planted in the 1960s). Thanks to the boost given by Piedmontese winemaker Francesco Fissore, their recent challenge has been the production of Metodo Classico as an additional asset, with noteworthy results. L'Arvange, a Metodo Classico from pinot nero, proves rich and pervasive. Its palate is spirited, supple, with well-integrated acidity and a crisp finish. The Gutturnio Bollino Rosso expresses riper aromas, like blackberry, followed by faint, pepper notes, a full-bodied structure, yet fresh, all topped off by an energetic finish. The rest of the range exhibits high overall quality.
