In contrast to other regional cooperatives, Colterenzio doesn't flaunt a history spanning centuries, yet it has played a pivotal role in elevating awareness of the region's potential. Sixty years after its founding, the winery now guides the efforts of 300 families who cultivate vineyards primarily in Oltradige, a true viticultural mosaic where each variety is cultivated in the most well suited plot, from the simplest wines to the top expressions of terroir reserved for their Lafóa line. Three wines that reached our finals, led by the excellent LR '19, a blend of chardonnay, pinot bianco, and sauvignon that strikes for its finesse and compactness. The Cabernet Sauvignon Lafóa '20 is your classic, prized red, outlined by deep, layered aromas brought out further on a rigorous, taut palate. The Sauvignon '21, on the other hand, moves elegantly between exotic fruit and floral notes, stretching towards a crisp, lean finish.
