The year's favorable climate, while lacking in precipitation, was rich in sunshine, imparting complexity to the grapes and imbuing them with delightful aromas. Giuseppe and Davide continue to invest in the winery with an eye towards the future. This year they have introduced a new wine, made from the white ruzzese grape, a Ligurian variety that had fallen out of favor over the years but is now an object of attention. The wine is dedicated to Giuseppe and named after his birthdate: "Diciassettemaggio." The Luccicante '22, intense in its aromas of flowers and white fruits, elegant in flavor, stands out for its fresh and very harmonious body, with a persistent finish. The Diciassettemaggio '20 proves vibrant yet delicate, captivating with its sweet hints of candied orange, figs, and almond, sensations that reemerge on a thrilling finish.
