In the heart of the Euganean Hills, Francesco and Gianpaolo Borin manage their family enterprise: nearly thirty hectares stretching from the plains around the winery in Monticelli to the hills of ArquÖ Petrarca. The Borin brothers' portfolio is extensive and finely crafted. Reds predominantly feature Bordeaux varieties, while the whites showcase a broader array, from chardonnay to manzoni bianco, with the traditional moscato grapes playing a significant role. Their two reserves, the Mons Silicis '19 and the Rocca Chiara '20, put in excellent performances. A cabernet sauvignon and a merlot (respectively), they interpret the territory while highlighting its sunniness. In the case of the former, this is underscored by a broad fruitiness that finds an echo on a dense, vigorous palate, while the latter is even more mature and pervasive. The Chardonnay Vigna Bianca '21 stands out for its aromatic clarity and a vital, sapid thrust on the palate.
