Stefano Pola manages the family business with his feet planted firmly in the territory and his gaze turned to the world, availing himself of a quite substantial property dominated by the presence of Glera. Production revolves around Treviso bubbly, which is offered in two DOCG versions: Conegliano Valdobbiadene and Asolo. The producer reaches peaks of excellence with their single-vineyard wines, making for a wide range that will fully satisfy Prosecco lovers. Once again the Brut Col del Forno ’20, fruit of their Refrontolo vineyards, is at the top of its game. It offers up clear, focused expressions of golden apples and flowers, while on the palate it exhibits perfect harmony between sweetness, acidity and fizz. A fresh drink, more than gratifying. The 26° Primo ’20 plays more on veiled, unripe fruit, coming through crispy and juicy in the mouth where, drawing on the little sugar present, it impresses with its sharp, dry palate.
