The owner Meinrad Casimiro Perler, who grew up in the Canton of Freiburg, purchased "Tenimento dell'Ör", in the municipality of Arzo, in 1981. This very old estate is mentioned in a document from the 1700s as one of the most important vineyards in the Mendrisio district. Renewal, combined with a passion for experimentation, has created an ampelographic vineyard with over 600 varieties to study their different characteristics. In 2002 he purchased the "La Prella" estate in Genestrerio. The winery's production numbers 23 wines, often made with unusual grapes for Ticino. Their Casimiro IGT '18 stood out, made with 11 varieties, it could be defined as the Châteauneuf-du-Pape of Ticino. A wine with great aging potential is their Merlot Riserva '18, complex and balanced with integrated tannins. Their red Sottobosco '18, a Bordeaux blend, features an ample bouquet, notes of wild berries, good structure with aging potential. Their Rosso del Ticino Oro Rosso '17 proves pleasant and early-drinking.
