Agostino Vicentini and his wife Teresa transformed their family farm into a wine production business. Today, their children Francesca and Manuele form a tight-knit team managing all stages of production. Around 20 hectares of vineyards are dedicated to Soave's and Valpolicella's traditional grapes, resulting in a range of distinct personality and authenticity. Once again the two star performers are the Soave Il Casale '21 and the Valpolicella Palazzo di Campiano '18. The former doesn't aim to impress with aromatic intensity as much as with its palate, where it's rich, extraordinarily sapid and governed by an acidic thrust that lends plushness and length. The latter, on the other hand, moves in the opposite direction: elegant in its hints of wild fruit and flowers, it entices with a lovely hit of underbrush and spices. In the mouth, it moves lightly, juicy, and with a sinuous rhythm.
