The Parabuio, a superb merlot shaped by the terroir of Gaiole in Chianti Classico, comes from just a few rows in the historic Vigna Casi. Its an extraordinary wine, both deep and refined. Red and black fruit alternate with a kaleidoscope of aromas ranging from spice to underbrush, tobacco, and coffee powder. The palate is dense and creamy, the tannins soft and persuasive, yet its progression remains smooth and impeccably clean.
