Piccolo è bello. This a truly genuine Italian-style pasta lab in the heart of Meloburne. While fresh pasta and risotto dishes are the drawcard here, smart diners don’t pass over the equally delicious antipasti on offer. The kitchen is open all day, but book early or you’ll miss out. Our tip? Go for the housemade gnocchi with braised duck. The wine lists doesn’t show big numbers but lots of character and research thanks to many small terroir-driven vignerons. Bravi!
