The refined Marylebone neighbourhood offers a wide choice of Italian restaurants. Among our favourites is Santo Mare, a very classic restaurant recently opened by Andrea Reitano. It draws on excellent daily seafood catch, displayed in plain sight at the counter. We started with oysters and beautiful raw red prawns from Mazara del Vallo, then risotto with cuttlefish and artichokes, and well-balanced and perfectly grilled assorted fish. The wine list is very wide, with a clever by the glass option that allows to try different styles and types. Prices are in line with the quality of the offer and impeccable service.
